Brenda Kracht and Ledge Hakes shared the spotlight as our Optimists on the School Board. Brenda brings her many years of classroom experience to the board, and Ledge has his enthusiasm and love for the schools that he attended and that still educate his children.
Brenda told us about the classroom challenges and how our district teachers meet them. She shared charming, innovative projects that involve the math students in thinking about what they are learning.
Go to the School District website and look at the Executive Summary of Capital Facility Budget and the Executive Summary of Budget Events. Ledge says that we are in better shape than almost all School Districts in the State.
